Confirm the supported satellite systems and bands, active or passive architecture, connector, cable and mounting requirements on the exact product page.
Provide the GNSS receiver model, required constellations and bands, active or passive input, permitted supply voltage, connector, cable length, enclosure material and installation location. Active antennas may also require confirmation of LNA gain, current and noise performance. Final validation should include sky visibility, ground-plane conditions, cable loss and interference from nearby radios or electronics.
A combined antenna can simplify installation when one enclosure or mounting point must serve both positioning and cellular functions. Confirm that the individual ports, bands, cables and connectors match the receiver and modem; a combined housing does not mean the RF paths are interchangeable.
Use a location with the clearest practical view of the sky and minimal obstruction from metal, heated glass or active electronics. Follow the model’s ground-plane and orientation requirements, and verify reception in the final vehicle or equipment installation.
