Begin with the radio module and the number of RF ports to be connected. Specify target bands, required polarization, antenna spacing, isolation target, impedance, connector, cable length, mounting location and available enclosure volume. For combined cellular, Wi-Fi or GNSS designs, document every active radio and its antenna position so coexistence and routing can be assessed in the complete system.
